The City of Plantation will be losing Plantation General Hospital who will be moving to Davie. This leaves the city with only one hospital and a lack of specialized care facilities. This affect local business who provided miscellaneous service to onsite employees ranging from having your car detail to having a major engineering work performed. The hospital was providing an additional $60,000.00 in revenue to the City of Plantation.
One of the solutions will be to have Plantation leave a satellite emergency service center where people can be treated for non life threating injuries and a patients can be stabilized. The satellite medical facility would not only provide medical services to our residents, it would also provided income and jobs to our city.
